Building Bridges: My Journey to China to Strengthen Manufacturer Partnerships!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Next Smart Ship in Shenzhen China where I meet with Sienna Wu the warehouse manager. Together we discussed collaboration for Perth Development & Investments future projects moving forward and Sienna was able to give me a tour of the warehouse at the same time. This was so vital to speck in person with Sienna and to see firsthand the Next Smart Ship China logistics warehouse set up! 

Following this I flew to Beijing to connect with Sophy from Garife Metal Products. I was so grateful to Sophy and her driver for meeting me at the airport at 2am to them take me on a three-hour journey southwest to Cangzhou - Botou where their manufacturing facility is located. 

The following day after a good nap Sophy and here driver collected me from the Arcadia International Hotel where Sophy and Garife Metal Products kindly put me up for the two nights while visiting. After being picked up we headed to their facility to engage in discussions about the specific details of the portable BBQ gas fire pit they are crafting for us and I had the opportunity to tour the facility firsthand.

This trip has been instrumental in strengthening our partnership and ensuring we achieve the highest standards in our production for the Australian Gas Certified portable BBQ fire pit.

We plan on heading back to China in October to visit Ningbo where Perth Developments other manufacture “Ningbo Alps Outdoor Products Co Ltd” is located that’s crafting our heated folding chairs. This will be a double header trip as I will also be able to visit our shipping agent that is shipping our products direct to the warehouse in Australia.
