Perth DNI Update – Where We’re At

Hello everyone,
Here is a Perth DNI update!
Pit & Seat is finally up and running fully again. The recall we had to carry out last year really hit Perth Developments hard. Not only did we have to refund and retrieve all the units we had sold, but we also had to make changes to the BBQ Flame to meet the new AGA (Australian Gas Association) requirements.
Luckily, our manufacturer came to the rescue and we were able to get the gas certification sorted, along with all the parts needed to make the changes and updates. We are now fully up and running on Amazon and getting sales daily, alongside our normal Shopify sales. We’ve been heavily reliant on Google SEO and advertising, but we’ve managed to find a happy medium, and things are going really well!
I’m taking Mum over to Sydney again at the start of November to work through the remaining stock before we run out. We’re also currently in the process of placing another order from China and adding a new, more compact BBQ Flame to the lineup.
We haven't officially launched the 4-handle BBQ pan yet, but this is now available in limited quantities and we're getting orders, which is great! When I get some spare time, I will look at launching this as it's a great product and can be used as a normal pan, not just a 4-handle pan.
Our Dianella project is coming to an end, with the final steps for subdivision clearance happening this week. We just need to get clearance from the City of Stirling, which I will be submitting next week once the garden shed is erected. This is one of the clues! To finish it all off our fencing guy Mike will be in to complete the boundry fencing around the property and we'll complete the rest of the lanscaping and we are done!
The market downturn, I personally think it's a double-edged sword. Yes, we are losing money now, but we are more excited about being able to pick up our next project at a lower price, so that's a win. I predict a 20% pullback over the next 24 months, but who knows? If we all knew, we would all be millionaires lol. Whatever happens, we'll go with the market.
All in all, the Sydney trip coming up in November for stock replenishments and getting the Dianella project finished is keeping us busy.
Cheers,
Jeff
