A few weeks ago, I flew to Sydney for a quick but important business trip. Three days and two nights packed with logistics, planning, and a bit of sightseeing. The main purpose of the trip was to oversee the transition of Pit & Seat’s inventory to our new warehouse, and I’m happy to share that everything went smoothly.
We’ve officially moved into our new logistics hub at Kemps Creek, operated by Couriers & Freight. This marks a big step forward for Pit & Seat & PerthDNI as we continue scaling and refining our distribution network. We relocated 29 pallets from our previous storage facility into the new warehouse, which now serves as our primary dispatch center.
Getting to meet the warehouse team and see the operation in person was invaluable. Being hands-on with the transition helped me ensure the process was smooth and gave me confidence in the team managing our stock on the ground.
Having a centrally located warehouse in Sydney is a strategic move as it allows us to ship more cost-effectively across Australia, and even into New Zealand, which opens up a completely new market.
Of course, no trip to Sydney would be complete without a little time to take in the sights.
I managed to squeeze in a quick visit to the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge! This was a nice moment to reflect and recharge amidst all the hustle.
